Meeting An Apostle through "Savior of the World"

We had a special rehearsal for Elder L. Tom Perry when he was here for leadership training. It is always so wonderful to meet and shake hands with an apostle. He is so personable and caring, I felt like he was my grandpa. My favorite part about his visit was seeing all the kids faces as they shook his hand. Some comments were: "I feel so relaxed and peaceful", "It is like being at the temple", and they were smiling from ear to ear! What an awesome experience!

It has been my privilege to be a part of this cast two years in a row. Both years, I have been able to witness first hand the Lord's Hand in all things and His miracles. The adversary has tried very hard to try and do everything to keep this show from being a success. Many have been sick, including me- I got a huge sinus infection this last week, many have had family problems and accidents, the sound board has crashed on us a couple times, etc. I am so grateful for the Gospel and the testimony I have of my Savior and Father in Heaven. I know "All Flesh is in His Hands", "His mercy is on them that fear Him", "Blessed are those who believe but have not seen"; to take a few lines from our script! I wish everyone could come and see it, feel the peace the spirit brings and feel of Heavenly Father's love for all His children. It has been a wonderful missionary opportunity for me and I am honored to be a part of something so worthwhile in this city.
